This other worldly place is all that remains of what used to be a mountain range near Sargodha in Pakistan. The demand for crushed stone has led to huge mountains being dug up. Over time, rainfall has resulted in the formation of deep crater lakes, calm, serene, and dangerous if you were to slip and fall into the deep pools. Just to give you an idea of scale, the large column in the middle image rises nearly 40 metres high from the surface.
